True Love Or No True Love

"I wish to feel the true love. Why can't I feel it?", they asked.

I don't know how many times I heard this very question. I never know what the answer was, but recent life experience added a new thought in a tiny part of my brain. I started to think about eggplant.

If you want to eat eggplant, how do you cook it?

You can fried it with a little bit of spices and add perhaps anchovies or a bit of cut mushrooms, right? Then you can enjoy the wonderful taste of eggplant.

But how do we feel this emotion called "true love"?

How do we cook our eggplant, really? In real life, when we want to eat the eggplant, we cut the eggplant into small pieces, debone a whole chicken, add potatoes, toufu, eggs, cabbages, okra, and whatever else, and we make a soup out of them...

Well, if we are lucky, we can still taste a bit of eggplant, but chances are, all we have is a chicken soup with a lot of veges...

But I know that everyone will argue, how can we survive life with only love? Don't we need other things as well??

Hmmm... Then, have a nice chicken soup and stop complaining of not being able to taste the eggplant...
